Germany lost to Paraguay on PKs today in the round of 32! Germany not winning means Brazil gets to maintain its dominance at the top with 5 stars at least for another 4 years.
Think about it: Brazil won its 5th star in 2002: Italy won its 4th in 2006 and Germany in 2014. Which means , the two countries combined have had 8 chances to equal Brazil but have come nowhere close.
-Italy is yet to make it out of the first round , then missing 3 straight WCs.
-Germany not making it out of two straight first rounders and when they finally did this year, they lost in the round of 32….
