Pele was the last Brazilian to score a hat trick, back in the 1958 World Cup at age of 17! No other Brazilian has managed to score a hat trick since, a span of 64 years!

Think about that! Not even Pele himself managed to score another hat trick in next 3 WCs he played (yet he was injured for most of 1962 and 1966) or other Brazilian superstars since like Zico, Falcao, Careca, Romario, Bebeto, Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Ronaldinho, Kaka, Robinho and currently Neymar!

Amazing stat. Despite my fanaticism of football, I never realised Pele in 1958 was the only ever Brazilian world cup hat trick. Your favourite player from the 90s, Romario scored a hat trick at the Seoul Olympics against Australia. That, I have never forgotten.
