They are the absolute best friends in the world, aren't they?

When you're expecting nothing and you get a wonderful surprise from someone on the other side of the world, it's really awesome.

What's the last "for-no-reason" card, letter, note, gift, etc. that you received?

Oh, and who sent it?  :lol:

Mine, of course, came from Renee. Just when I was about to change my name and adopt a secret identity and leave my life behind, she sent me the sweetest card and the most divine chocolate. She has such timing!

Um, I don't remember. Oooo, my dad sent me an elephant that he bought from Iraq. Cutest elephant ever! The only stuffed animal in my room besides all the Ninja Turtles in my closet all aligned up there like they're watching me when I open the door. Hahaha!

Well I think the last thing I got was a letter from Shami and this was back in the daaaaaaaaaaaaay. She wrote me a HUGE letter that I loved reading...catching up on the goss. But she had also sent me a huge package which were gifts. I'm still in love with my scrapbook  :2hearts:

Grab Ashu and come to Oz already...and bring the AVNers I like with you please. Ok thanks.
 
my girl lindsay is the best one at this, she send me cards and books all the time.
For labor day weekend she send me the book DIRTY GIRLS SOCIAL CLUB a card and some goya seasoning..
oh and my ex and i still send each other random lunchs. i'll always order something and if i know he likes it i'll get it delivered to his work.

I've gotten some really, really nice things in the mail the last few months (some from people on avn :blush2:).  All somewhat unexpected and really, really nice.

So.... :bigarmhug:
 
Last weekend I was in wrigleyville celebrating the cubs postseason demise and one of my friends, who happens to be a cardinals fan, bought me, "hookah tobacco" to commemorate the cubs, "choking harder than jenna jamison." His words.  Well it turns out it was berry flavored chewing tobacco that he bought at some point during the night.  I thought it was pretty funny.
 
I guess my friends all suck.  Nobody sends me s**t.  I'm the one that sends things to people when they don't expect it, especially when I'm traveling.  I'm also the one that always sends postcards.  Why don't they ever send me anything?  Jerk-asses.
