For Bani and the Aussi's

I had no idea what this game was until I saw the scoreboard at the end.  That game was one of the biggest disgraces in football history.  It was a World Cup qualifier back in 2000 or 2001 and how a game such as this was allowed to be played was disgraceful.  Neither team got anything out of the game.  The only think was that Archie Thompson who now plays for Melbourne  now has the record for most number of goals in a world cup match (13).  It is not something that Thompson himself is proud of.  Games like this are thye reason that Australia dumped Oceania and joined Asia.  Australia used to play these games and then play off against teams like Uruguay who had 2 home and away games against Argentina and Brazil.  How Australia made the last world cup was a miracle.
