Plot: After killing Lieutenant George Wydell, the Firefly family is caught in the path of a vengeful cop (Lieutenant George Wydell's brother). The police raid the family and Baby, Otis, Captain Spaulding and the rest head out. Get ready for a nation-wide killing spree!

Review: I had read some good reviews about this film, but it still was a surprise how good it turned out to be, an instant cult classic.

A very stylish, extremely violent, well acted, and brilliantly directed hell of a roller coaster ride.

The film is set in the 70s and has a very authentic 70s feel to it, from the soundtrack, to the production design, to the use of freeze-framing which was quite common back then, to the low-tech film stocks used in filming.

This film is without a doubt one of the best films made this year, but its not for all tastes.

Rating: 9.5/10
 
omg salem r u serious?!?!??!?! i havent seen it cuz i was so scared it would suck like "house of a 1000 corpses">. dont tell me u liked that one too?? .. ufh now i wanna watch it!! :2guns: '

i heard its way more bloodier adn gory then teh first one.. ur thoughts?? :mrgreen:
 
No I haven't seen that one, but I've heard it's an average film, nothing special.

This is very different though, it's more of a road film, serial killers on the run terrorising the people.

Its a disturbing film to an extent, some of its scenes will stick with you for a long time, very violent & bloody, but done beautifully.

The son/broher Otis is a Charles Manson clone, he looked like the devil in some scenes.

If you can, get the DVD this weekend, you wont be disappointed, I know it has been released in the States on DVD already.
 
ok salem.. it better not b a disappointment!!! cuz the first one was stupid.. a bunch of scenes put together that made no sense.. and it reminded me of the new chainsaw massacre which wasnt that great either.. ok i'll rent it.. and if it sux it's ur head!! :lol:

they have a 2nd version noww?? or is this the same one that my cuzin wanted to kill mee wen she watched it?? if it is that movie suckss ballss!!

its nonsense..the shittiestt movie of all time!
 
cognac, you are thinking of house of a thousand corpses which sucked ass.

but i agree with salem on this one. awesome movie...great acting!!!
