Far-right politician interviews Assyrians in Sydney and mocks them

Mark Latham, a right-winged Australian politician (an ex politician, really) goes out to Fairfield, the suburb with the most recent Assyrian arrivals, and ridicules them for not speaking good English. He states that their welfare must be cut if they don't learn English in 12 months. Latham is known to be against multiculturalism, Islam and other "non-white" traditions. It's rather sad, because many right-winged politicians don't see as any different from Muslims. We're even lumped with them.

Btw, the video is from April 2017. Odd that nobody mentioned this or made a post about it.

The video below is from Rebel Media (Latham now works for it). Here he does another round at Fairfield. This time in November 2017. He concludes by saying Assyrians still haven't improved when it comes to English. The comments section of this video all think of us as Muhammad worshipping, Shariah-loving freaks. It's disgusting.

That sounds like a really reasonable quote. Whoever said it, is right as heck. As I put:

He has a point but at least understand the context. Secondly, not to be that guy but I'm blaming Australia for having such lax welfare. If we ever got a country, I would make it a constitutional law to ban any kind of social program like that.

The comments are dreadful. There's plenty more where that came from.

If our welfare were stricter then we'd have a lot of homeless people and perhaps more violent crime. I'm glad that Australia is as is it is tbh.

not really, welfare increases the amount of violent crime. Idk how the Australian welfare laws are but 50 years of american welfare, black-american community's out of wedlock birthrate is 70%, commit HALF the USA's violent crimes like armed robbery and murder. It's gotten so bad that black teenagers are murdering each other over pairs of brand name shoes like Jordans and $50...

In fact, JUST BEFORE CHRISTMAS, a kid was murdered just for his shoes and that happened christmas eve 2017.
much of black women have evolved and become vulgar, rude, callous, and uncaring people.
black men know how black women are so they treat them as mere sex toys and I can't blame them because they're not wife material.

The women are busy bedding random guys and getting pregnant, then using the pregnancy to get more welfare money.

Why are Black-Americans stereotyped as violent? Because the single black mothers physically and emotionally abuse their kids, giving them mental problems and acting out of emotion rather than logic because the kids are a product of their environment.

Another problem, the black mothers don't save some of their welfare money to give their kids a future. Black-American culture has it that a kids money is their money and the parent's money is their money. Because of this, the kids don't have a launch pad to build up their future. This is why alot of black-Americans rely on sports or music to become wealthy because they have garbage habits of managing money because they get free money courtesy of Uncle Sam.

No way, welfare is designed to keep you there. Welfare is a trap. As we Assyrians say, this is "dalooleh", spoiling people. Welfare brings out the worst in people, not the best and this is proven after 50 years of welfare.

I can't blame the Assyrian immigrants in Australia for getting welfare because they don't know the country and culture too well knowing that welfare is a trap. Which is why it's better to wean them off of welfare or else it'll degrade us and then the Right-wingers will use us as ammo against us.

Don't you think these people would commit even more crimes if welfare didn't exist? Maybe the welfare thing is just slightly moderating the social issues among blacks?
Btw, there has always been problems with African Americans, due to their history in the US. Maybe appeasing them made them more unruly and rowdy? At least in here, if you're on welfare, you're much less likely to steal or shoplift as the government is already paying you.

commit more crime? No, they'd go find work or start their own businesses. Black-Americans on welfare never start their own businesses unless it's a crack cocaine house or a brothel. Hell alot of the times, it's the black women themselves selling themselves.

Welfare has destroyed the Black-American family (remember 70% of born black children are OUT OF WEDLOCK).
The black women see no reason to get married because welfare replaced what could've been their husband.

Btw, Chicago news released states that there were 650 murders in Chicago this year.

There should be NO social programs ever. The only social program a government should have is the military.

If you're going to have social programs, it shouldn't be headed by the government, but rather headed by individual states or provinces. Not only that but states/provinces should have the legal authority to decide if they want their state/province to have welfare as a social program.

This is something I learned in computer programming: separate your software into smaller programs that interact with one another. Doing this will allow you to minimize and deal with errors if one of the smaller programs fail.

Lastly, where did you get the idea that being on welfare makes you less likely to steal/shoplift? If that's entirely true, why are there Assyrian drug gangs where there HAPPENS to be a large area of low income welfare recipients?

EDIT: I also want to add, welfare also increases the dumbest of the population.

Perhaps you're right about blacks. So I won't delve into it anymore as I'm not from the US anyway and thus I would lack knowledge.

Btw, Assyrian guys (in AUS) who partake in drug gangs are rarely unemployed. They're usually laborers and work in low paying jobs. They do this so nobody suspects them and also, they need a lot of money because of getting chicks, buying cars and other gizmos to show off. Furthermore, youths here cannot just rely on welfare, like older citizens can (unless they're carers). They must work or else they'll be on the dole. Also, outside of that, they would make money from selling drugs.

P.S. Me "defending" welfare has nothing to do with what political wing I am or support. It's not related.

sorry, I went a little overboard but that should show you how bad US welfare is. Either it's inherently bad or very badly designed in terms of policy.

Also, US welfare also requires you to work. So alot of these black single mothers DO have jobs but they're usually government jobs or low paying jobs as well.

That's also the issue with drug prevalence in welfare states, just because you're giving money doesn't mean people won't commit crime.

It's historically proven that a Capitalist system raises people out of poverty, not welfare or any kind of government assistance.
You can't move up people who don't want to move up on their own.

I agree. Welfare does make people lazier and even poorer.

which reminds me to say, Trump is replacing the food stamps with food boxes. Food stamps/EBT cards pretty much allow people on welfare to buy food from places that accept EBT cards. Problem is that the people on welfare are buying alot of unhealthy food like junk food, soda, etc.

Food box has the basic food groups and is set to replace food stamps.
