Euthanasia

I'm kind of on the fence when it comes to this topic. In some ways it can be seen as wrong because you are DELIBERATELY ending someone's life. However, if that person is suffering, and if it were not for the machine allowing them to live...they would be dead, so it was obviously their time to go, so why prolong it? You are aware that they may never recover, and are in pain or do not even know what is going on in their surroundings and it is in such cases that I believe the best thing to do is let them rest in peace.

As was the case here in Canada with Terri Schiavo...the doctors were certain that her condition would never change, she never responded to anything and did not remember anything or even spoke. So... her husband decided to pull the plug, even though her parents were convinced that she was making progress. But I mean, she was their child...it was simply wishful thinking on their part.

In such a case I guess it was right, but at the same time I don't know...lol
as i said, I'm on the fence when it comes to this topic.

Let's not forget that Terry Schiavo was starved to death over two weeks. I don't care what your condition is, no one deserves that. Especially not in the name of a supposed "humane death".

I am against it. Who are we to decide that someone's life has to be end?
And there is always a chance ppl can get better ( these things happpen ).

If i came in a situation like that i would die the natural way. It's just the way it is.
