Enable 'Assyrian/Syriac' Font on your Windows PC

Hi
I am able to get into a word processor with Estrangela font.  But when I start typing, just plain abcde comes through and not the new font, or Right-left typing.

What am I to do now?

:bigarmhug:I installed/unzipped it. I went to that tremendous language list window to see if it's listed, but alas, I only saw Estrangela again.

How do I know if I even have it on my system or not?

What I do is i set it by system settings AND I use Character map to individually click out words :)

Can you describe it more in layman's terms? Can you make an instruction list...if you have the time...?

I don't have windows on this computer I'm using, I'm using Ubuntu now but look for a little program called Character map and go to East Syriac Adiabene.
