Driving in Baghdad

What a coincident, I was just seeing this yesterday at my friend's computer.

What can I say: EXTREMELY CARELESS, but this carelessness is what saves them. You just can't drive slow in Baghdad, they will bomb the humvee right away.

These American soldiers are hillarious I swear. I bet you, they are a bunch of 19 and 20 years old, who haven't even seen college. Look at how they are giving every car a little bump from the back, to let them know they are behind them :lol:

That doesn't look like Baghdad to me, I know Baghdad well. That looks more like Nineveh, Arbil or Kerkuk provinces in the North.

Thats freakin crazy, I mean yea they have to be quick but they act as if the streets belong to them.. and them making fun of that man pickin his nose  o well yanni people cant pick there nose.. kma pakheh
 
Nat, their reaction is understandable giving the transition from US to Baghdad, and what they see everyday.  Their behaviour is not acceptable, but it is part of the new 'rules of engagement in Iraq', you just can't trust anyone. HELL NO.

man, i'd kick someones ass if they rear ended me like that.. i guess if i had a crap car, it wouldnt matter, but still.. thats stupid..

i'd let them get in front of me.. then start ramming the back of their car  :lol:
 
Man, I feel for both sides. For an Iraqi it must suck to see American soldiers get thier way. While it is obvious the soldiers are really scared, they don't know who is the enemy or who is thier friend.

It seems there is an understanding that if an army vehicle comes close you get out of the way, just like police, ambulances and fire trucks. Most are obeying this while some get bumped out of the way.
