I really like him but he could tone it down a little.

He also sometimes makes stupid comments such as supporting Hezbollah.

 
Had no idea this bugger was popular in 2010 as well.

He supports Hamas and their terrorism with his usual platitudes ("they're freedom fighters"). I will not take him seriously. That said, he is very pleasant to interview. I like his calm quiet nature. But man, he is one insanely self-hating specimen.

Self-hatred exists man. Chomsky and Finkelstein are leftist American liberals (and have more in common with communism than anything, as they're left wingers). Notice how the most antizionist, self hating Jews are those living in the US for a really long time? Miko Peled, Glen Greenwald? They're usually in the West. They haven't lived a lot in Israel. "Antizionists" in Israel are just critical of the government, say when it's a right winged or left winged one that they approve of. Many despise Bibi (and they make fair points). But they won't be burning Israeli flags.

Reminds me of our own Assyrians who are born here and run away from anything that smells Assyrian, and yet when it comes to war in Syria/Iraq they'll be shitting on America, UK, AUS (whilst being silent about Muslims and their governments). These self-hating Jews are just like that, unironically. They're so liberal and anti-war (which is fine), but they're generally ignorant about the roots of the wars.

Don't know why you're so shocked about me defending Israel. Several other Assyrians agree with me about Israel (I wouldn't say most, though most of us DO think Hamas is a spit stain). Are we all woke "Israeli students" now? Why do you this...? I never forget your old comment on some Assyrian guy here, who defended Israel and you said "hey Bibi, are you Bibi, why are you here"? Do you realise how ridiculous this conspiratorial mindset is? Btw I've been a member here since 2011. I don't think an Israeli will care that much to be here. And besides, most of them aren't even aware that modern Assyrians even exist. 🤣

As a matter of fact, we had an Israeli Mizrahim on here about 20 years ago and despite admitting how Mizrahim are discriminated against in Israel,and so very few get into the Knessett, he still spread Hasbarist propaganda and I chased him out of here.

The problem with hasbarists is they think that the more times they repeat a lie, the more true it becomes, though it is only true in their warped sense of reality.

Any Assyrian who supports Israel is lower than a snake's belly and should give up calling themselves Assyrian.

What an unhinged statement man. I don't understand why are you're so vile towards Israel and Jews. What did the Jews ever do to Assyrians nasha? Be critical of Judaism/Torah as much as you want, but why a democratic nation and the people? And don't bring up ethnic cleansing. Jews have been cleansed too - Arab nations expelled 99% of Jews living there.

Jews and Assyrians have a common enemy - Islamism. All the surrounding nations want the Jews dead. That's why I "support" them. Otherwise, I would see Israel just like any other normal MENA nation - Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan.

I really don't understand your psychology and animosity. You'll be more graspable if you are a Palestinian. But you're not, and you're not even an Arab. I'll say it again, if only a Palestinian would be this supportive of Assyrians and spiteful about our land grabbers. Oh wait, they won't: Because you're a Christian.
