A lot of guys you know living in the 40's?

Just curious, what's notorious about the blog?  Or was that just part of the marketing to make people read it and understand what makes you tick?

Well in my experience, mother issues in men aren't a thing of only one decade or period.  This "condition" is especially common in our people who like other middle eastern cultures place a lot of emphasis on the sons of the family, so therefore the mother worships and babies them well into their senior years.  This leaves our men emotionally attached to their mother and the general concept of "mother".  This probably came into our culture through the influence of Islam, where families regarded their sons more than their daughters. 

But with all that said, the "midwife to men with mother issues" thing is just for laughs :)

I like to think the blog is notorious :) But of course you are welcome to come to your own conclusion about that.
 
"condition" ha?  This must be a big issue for 'our' men?  do you think this attachment makes them less of a man or more respectful towards women?  Or is that the same? I mean, if you're respectful to women then you are less of a man? :mrgreen:
 
Mother issues usually have nothing to do with women other than the "afflicted" man's mother.  Unless if you consider the fact that they usually think no other woman will ever treat them as well as their mother did as a way of it affecting other women. 

Either way...

Do you have mother issues? ;)

Just give them the qosarta and send them to the kitchen to cook us some biryani or dolmeh the way our mums taught them to treat us.

I do cook, white and red rice (not with a rice cooker), pasta, and a mean eggs and tomatoes breakie!

I've certainly found my feminine side, and I love it! Look what you've done, I'm all embarrassed now, stop it!! :blush2:

Was fish one of the things that I said I can cook? No, so cook it yourself.
