Do you believe in ghosts?

I have never had a real fascination with the world of paranormal activity, but from time to time, I will come across something that interest me. Well, a few days ago, I came across something really interesting about the whole topic of ghosts and paranormal activity:

"It was on thanksgiving and I was coming back from the bathroom and looked left into a bedroom that was basically being used as a storage room. This was the first time when I encountered a ghost/spirit that it was in perfect form to the last detail. Older guy wearing thick glasses with a plaid shirt and denim overalls. The strange thing was we both froze when we saw each other. Almost like I was a ghost to him and vice versa. I immediately told my family after the ghost ran away and faded as he did so. Literally turned around and ran into nothingness. Has the same color as you would think when someone said Casper the friendly ghost but the details were so vivid it was like you could even see buttons and hair and everything perfectly. Other times I usually just feel the presence or get a sort of white mist with other experiences with no actual detail visually."
Then someone else replied with the following fascinating account!!!

"I believe a lot of "ghost sightings" are actually some kind of time slip. I heard a story of a woman who walked into her kitchen and saw the ghost of an old woman and two young girls who all looked at her scared and screamed, so she screamed and jumped back into the living room and when she came back they were gone. Later, she's telling this story to her aunt, who says, "That reminds me of when me and your mother were young girls. We were standing in the kitchen with your grandmother, and a ghost woman walked into the kitchen! We all screamed, and she jumped back into the living room and disappeared!"

Think about that! That second story almost got proven, or like a mirror reflection of something that happened in the past. Which brings me to this theory of time slip, or looked at from another angle , it is almost like these entities are time traveler from another dimension or time. But if this is really the case, it begs several questions:

-What about the alleged appearance of dead people as ghosts at the site where they were killed? Are they also time traveler who are stuck in the same place?
-If time slippage really does happen (where two people from two two different times run into each as ghosts) why does it only happen on very rare occasions and not all the time?

What do you guys think? Assuming these two examples are not made up (or just people imagining things) how plausible or interesting is this?

Sorry if I scared anyone? :)

I personally don't. I used to as a kid/teen. After my mum's grandmother died in the early 90s, all of her loved ones said they heard noises in the kitchen at night, like the way she would bang the cupboards and slam the plates on the sink.

Interesting! You wonder if these noises really did take place, or it was so ingrained in their brain that it almost made it up that noise, and thought it was real.

That's right, because she had the habit of slamming kitchen cabinets and doors, and they probably had that memory etched in their head. 😂
