Could Robinho be a Superstar this World Cup?

I have a feeling that Robinho will break out this world cup, and probably be the MVP of the turnament.

Robinho usually plays great for Brazil, and he has already played in one world cup, and won 2 confederation cups and one Copa America.

This leads me to believe that he will tear it apart this world cup, together with Kaka and Fabiano.

Do you share my sentiment?

i put him on a line with adriano or edmilson...they're just too immature for playing professional football

they all have amazing potential but none of them did manage to make much out of it

my fav. in brazil aquad is Maicon...world best wing player

thomas, what do you think of Grafite from Wolfsburg, who was a very surprise pick for me. Beleive it or not, and as much as I love and follow Brazil, I had never heard of this guy prior to the call up to the NT. I did read about his stats and watched some videos, and they are all impressive. But at 31, and with only 1 or 2 international caps to his name, can he really help Brazil? can he do more than say Ronaldinho?

Grafite is overrated.

When Wolfburg 08/09 won the season, they had Magath as their coach.

This Coach is known to have hard, grinding training methods and laying heavy

emphasis on discipline and conditioning.

In that season Wolfburg won most games because they had great team spirit + nobody expected them

to be that strong and well organized.

Gafite, however, managed to get a supereb fitness and had colleges

in wolfsburg (i.e. Misimovic or Dzeko) that supported him very much on the pitch and

Grafite scored 28 goals (he did most penatly kicks).

This year Magath left and Wolfsburg ended the season on 8th place. Surprisingly, Grafite only scored 11 goals lol,

which I consider very poor for a 9 mio. euro brazilan striker.

conclusion: Grafite is not even 10% of Ronaldinho. He's remind's me more to Fabiano.

Physically strong player with average technique, but unlike Ronaldinho he's not a diva,

rather calm and humble.
If ever he could be a back up for Fabiano
