Congratulations President Barack Obama!

I wish I could type some of his speech in real time.  He made some excellent remarks regarding power and humility, things I believe the international community will definitly appreciate.

You should see it here at my work -- it's never been so quiet!  Everyone is either streaming it live in their offices, or gathered around a television in one of the break rooms.  A burglar could break in and wipe us out and we'd never even notice  :giggle:

LOL I bet. I?m sure work will not be done today. The other two guys in the office are so busy ordering material I don?t think they even know what?s going on down there.  :lol:  I?m going through different sites to see updates. I can?t hear anything though because I don?t have speakers at work. :(

Since swearing in on the bible is the tradition I found it interesting that Obama was sworn in using the same bible that Lincoln used in 1861.  He's the first President to use it since Lincoln.  I wonder if anyone will ever use the Millard Fillmore or James K. Polk bibles to be sworn in?  I kind of wish he'd used his own bible so that someday someone could be sworn in on the Obama bible.

I didn't know Lincoln was a Muslim.  I always heard that he was a Jew that had changed his name from Lincohen.
