Please try to attend this informative seminar and bring up any questions and concerns you have regarding the situation in atra.  Refreshments will be provided.

I just got this flyer last week through email. I love how the AAASC finally gave the hall out to Zowaa yet failed to send it out to people in the massive packet of flyers they sent us a few days ago.

Are they at least now accepting memberships from Assyrians who are from Iraq, or are those "types" still banned by that board?

They are open for 20 days for membership applications for the rest of 2009. It's for all the wrong reasons from what I gather.

I got the Flyer for the Janan Sawa party, and for the Assyrian Classes but nothing about this! lol

And it's not even on there website!

Real Smooth William..real smooth!

It's funny how this is confirmed and yet flyers weren't sent out, but the Janan Sawa party isn't and yet, the flyers were sent out pretty damn quick.

I wish he would make a stop in Toronto as well.

We have a lot of hope in Ashur TV. Please ask him about coverage to North America and when we should expect it.

As more and more people start to watch this channel, and with more funding, it will be the default for most Assyrians.

always controversial. :ranting:

Whoever didn't come to this missed out big time. This guy was so chill! Really cool, down-to-earth genuine guy with a lot of interesting information that just blew you away. There was easy 70 people there, mostly old. I could count the people in my generation on one hand. But others totally missed out. I wish there were more people. There were some anti-Zowaa people there that came and made some arguments, but it was fun to see them get owned by him over and over again in the nicest way possible. Hahahahaha!

As for Ashur TV..

I've never seen anyone pro-Kurdistani beat anyone who is Zowaa in an argument when it's face to face.  Everyone's a hero on the internet.  :)

I'm really glad some anti-Zowaa people went.  I truly wish they would attend more of these so at least they can be properly informed of the situation, rather than listening to lies from Ceres, or reading crap from kurds and their apologists on the internet.

If only people understand how important this channel is. Absolutely important, like language and our rights.

We have to support it. Thanks to Ashuriena and all those who came.

They still didn't listen. I could see them rolling their eyes and failing to applaud at the achievements that Zowaa has made.

Kheena they're Assyrians, and they're men, a double whammy.  Admitting they've been wrong about something would be like chopping off their manhood.

I am curious to know who these people were Ashuriena, and what party or movement did they represent? They can't just be ordinary citizens, they have to be affiliated with someone.

Hahaha, problem is...they don't think they're wrong. They were there with the intention to put down the speaker.

I know who they are and what their affiliations are. Some of them are pretty shady people and some of them are just retarded. Hahaha.

I just found out that one of those people was Maggie "Sargis Aghajan is a prince" Younan.  A real whackjob who just made the move to LA.  Lucky you Southern Cal

Hahaha, she wasn't alone... although, she was the most vocal one.

Yeah, she's got a big mouth, one that she stuffs her foot in quite often.

Btw, I did get a chance to meet and speak with Rabi Sargon here in Modesto.  A very personable, intelligent and dedicated young man.  Hope all those interested in what is happening in atra right now get the opportunity to meet him while he's here.
