Choosing the right Zurna / Zorna

Hello,

I have decided to take up learning how to play the Zurna and I have found a seller in Turkey.  They have many types of Zurnas and it appears that two of them are commonly used in our music, but I am not sure which one exactly or if both are just used for separate purposes.

A Zurna

Btw , curious, why did you choose the Zurna over the dawoola and this goes for Mr. Z as well.

While I love percussion, I just hate that very few people know how to play woodwinds anymore.  It seems like the Zurna has been replaced by the Korg but the Dawoola/davul is still around.  Also I like a challenge.  The Dawoola is next.  I am actually getting a Davul from turkey too.

Zurna has a sound that's not really comparable to other woodwinds.

To me, the G and D Zurna are probably the best for music.

Zurna sounds better when it's at a good low pitch like G or a good high pitch like D.

I have never played either one and the Zurna may be the harder one to play, but personally speaking, I enjoy the dola (dawoola) a lot more at weddings and songs. It just gets me into the song/dance more.

In the words of my mom, a dawoola and zurna being played together are just husband and wife arguing ( ?? ?? ??)

That is the type of sound I want to get.  It looks like a G Zurna but it does not sound like it.  Is this an A zurna?  If so, that may solve my problem.
