Guys, today is a day of unity and mourning, and not about Zowaa or anyone else!

this is just sick, how can something like this happen and people probably still continue to close their eyes...

This news breaks my heart. How much more can our people take? May the dead rest in peace. My heart goes out to the families.

- 55 people are killed, 50 of them were Assyrians!
- Iraqi police stormed the church without concerns about the hostages
- AT LEAST one hostage (the priest) were killed by the storming Iraqi police
- Defence minister Abdel Qader al-Obeidi said the "rescue" action was "fully successful" and he spoke about "a limited number of victims"

F1CK YOU ALL F1CKING IRAQIS!!!!! F1CK YOU ALL :ranting:

may the victims rest in peace :(

... Can you imagine their reason for doing this? they are killing Christians in Iraq, because another country, Egypt, has some problems between Muslims and Christians? what is next, kill more Christians if Muslims in India are not allowed to build their temple wherever they desire? ...

WHAT?! You belive this fairy tale ?!?!

Why not? I may not believe it 100%, but if you actually believe they had a good and valid reason, then you would be giving them too much credit.

But regardless what the motive is, they are terrorists, and they don't need a motive.

Bro, I am not here to defend anyone, but if you read the article, you would know a lot of those who did this weren't even from Iraq. They used classical Arabic to hide their real accent, or to make it seem like they are Iraqis.

I don't care who did it as an ethnicity, I care that it was done in the name of Islamic Jihad: THAT IS WHAT MATTERS HERE. And Iraqi Muslims are the first to come and demand justice.

ASHOOR

By the way, this couldn't have happened at a worse timing (not that there is ever a good time for something like this to happen)

-You already have US and world media busy with the recent airline terror plot, and tomorrow we have the US mid-term elections. So unfortunately, this massacre will not get much attention beyond a few days.

It is up to each one of us to spread the word and keep it going. I have already told a few of my coworkers about this. Some actually came to me, asking me about it.  We can't let something like this pass without at least letting the world know, so they can see the truth.

ASHOOR

My heart felt sympathies to the survivors and all of you Assyrians.  I was shocked to hear this.  It is sad how to know a few foreign extremists can cause so much damage.

It came up on swedish news today. It Will probably bee on during some days, hopefully they even dicide to do a new documentry about iraq here in sweden, since the wikileaks documents gained so much attention when it come to the iraq war, and what the war and the occupation has done to the people...

So should Zowaa declare war on all the extremists in Iraq, or will the Kurds get their d!ck out of Aghajan's mouth so he can do it?!

This is exactly the kind of thing they want to do to us: force us out of our country by inciting hate and fear.  If an Assyrian in Germany falls for this, what do we expect from our families in Iraq?!

Fukc it.  Let them all leave.  Who are they gonna stay there for?  Assyrians who trash their country when they feel like it?!

And who trained these Iraqi armed forces?  Exactly.  Our policy is not to negotiate with terrorists.  We taught them very well.  What is sad here is that they might have second guessed the operation had it been a mosque.  But I'm guessing the US troops supporting them didn't even think about that one.

Bro, if you read my post you quoted, you would know why I wrote F1CKING IRAQIS.

But you should, because every others care what ethnicity they bomb and what ethnicity they don´t bomb or in generall what ethnicity lives good and what ethnicity lives bad.

And in this situation it would not be clever + politically incorrect towards the own people if you would not care about that.

IRAQI PEOPLE (IRAQI SECURITY FORCE) WERE THE FIRST WHO KILLED THE HOSTAGES AND SAID THAT

"IT WAS A SUCCSESSFULLY RESCUE ACTION WITH A LIMITED NUMBER OF VICTIMS" (IRAQI MINISTER).

YES! And they were trained to kill the HOSTAGES at first!

Remember the Moscow theater massacre in 2004? that was 10 times worse than this, with about 350 people civilians killed. When the experienced Russian forces stormed the place, that is when most of the casualties happened.

Iraqi or anyone else, these operations are not easy. I am not saying the Iraqi forces did a good job. In fact, they did a poor job, but given that you have people who are determined to kill and die for the cause, it is a lose-lose situation.

Oh, okay, they are excused because somewhere and somewhen was a similar bad situation, okay.

Wikileaks, Iraq's Secret War Files - 48min Documentary
You must watch it if you have not done it before. It really shows the worst side of the US military and the US government.

Iraq's Secret War Files 1/4

This is from official military documents of the Iraq war, from wikileaks.

Usa has been trying to close wikileaks, that is based in sweden, for some time, they leak secret information about pretty much everything...

After watching this documentary, you really think that Usa and Iraqi security forces wil do something if some Christians die during a military/police operation? Well Unless we act and show them otherwise they wont, they have to much other things to worry about.

Agreed, I can?t believe some people they have so much hate in their heart for zowaa that they would
come here and make negative comments about zowaa on a thread like this.

Zawoyo, please don't put words in my mouth. That is not what I am implying, if it is not already clear enough.

I am saying this is a complex operation whether it was Iraqi, Russian or even US security forces involved.

Let us see: if you were in charge of this, how would you have handled this differently to minimize casualties.

As per the article I posted above, we all know what will this lead to: a new wave of our people leaving Iraq, which is very very frustrating.

Just when you thought we had gone a few months without any major terrorists activities in Iraq, comes this!

ASHOOR

I remember when you were so excited the day Sadam was killed, you said Iraqi people are safe and looking for a better Iraq

Ever since Sadam was killed more and more of our people have killed and just like you said more and more this country will no longer be safe place for Assyrians

Paraphrasing is not changing the meaning.

Ah, comon, this is no argument.
