Bombing in Greenzone caught on tape

Yea, I heard about this earlier in the day on the news. They made a big deal because for the past few months the Iraqis and Americans have been working even harder to secure the zone and prevent just such an attack.

I always knew there was no true safe place in Iraq, which is why it always terrified me when my father would go, even though I knew he stayed in the supposedly "safer" Green Zone (aka "The Bubble") and only traveled to the North. I also worry for my uncle and close friends of the family who are there working on a more regular basis; that entire country is just a dangerous place period.

My Mom just went back to Iraq after a 3 week "vacation".  She is also up North in the "Green Zone".  She says that all is well where they are, but then again, she never complains about anything, including being in a war zone.
