Beautiful Assyrian Girl Needs Help

I recieved this letter through friends of mine. Hope we all can help.

Dear family and friends,

untitled-2.jpg

?For he will rescue the needy when they cry out for help and the oppressed who have no defender.? Psalm72:12

This beautiful little girl pictured is Dalia, a sweet 11 years old girl.  She is suffering from a serious disease (probably cancer) in her upper right hip.  She is the daughter of my cousin Peter (Agnes & Alfred oldest son).  In 2004, Peter and his family escaped from Iraq to refuge in Syria after the threats that many Assyrians received in Dora, Baghdad.  My cousin Peter is a very proud father that took care of his family even in the worst circumstances.  He has never asked for any help until now.  His Daughter Dalia kept complaining of a sharp pain in her upper right hip.  On July 15, 2008 (see Attached Dr. report) she had a preliminary checkup and the cost was more that what cousin Peter could afford.  He decided to contact his oldest living uncle, Youbert, in the US.  Uncle Youbert contacted Mr. Youkie at AAS-Arizona seeking their expertise in these circumstances.  The Arizona chapter was graciously able to send $2,000 toward her medical bills.  Now after her final checkup in Syria, the doctors advised that she should have a surgical operation in Lebanon as it cannot be done in Syria. The cost for this surgery including hospital and doctor fees is approximately $10,000.  The cost of living and travel to Lebanon was not even asked by Peter.

I?m pleading with you to help this little girl she is innocent and does not deserve this fate.  They need to get to Lebanon in the next few days and collecting the money ASAP is crucial.  Any donation would be appreciated.  Peter has very limited access to the internet but feel welcome to send him an e-mail peterjacob2004@yahoo.com.

Thank You and God bless you all.

Guys this is what I got through an email from a friend. I don't know how they distinguish between the money donated to her or to AAS. You decide if you want to donate or not. I don't think AAS is trying to make money out of this.

If each one of us donates $10 or $20 it will make a big difference to her and others to come.

I only posted this becuase I thought this beautiful girl can use our help.

No one is saying that they're trying to make money out of this, the question is how will they distinguish between normal donations to AAS and donations to the this girl.

You need to know and so does everyone else b4 they donate. so hit your reply button and ask how will it be designated and how does the envelope or check need to be made out so it is properly earmarked.

Okay people, i met a memeber of Assyrian Aid society , and i asked if its true , he told me that it is ture and i asked what meroona asked ,he told me when you are using your credit card then in the bottom of the page you can write a comment and say that this money goes for that girl so they know its for her , or even if you send it by mail, just say its for this girl and they will know and save it for her :)
