Bay Area CBS Coverage of Assyrians

A news producer friend of mine who works for CBS Channel 5 in the Bay Area had contacted me about doing a story on Iraqi Christians. He requested a list of churches that Assyrians attend (I gave him the Assyrian Church of the East in San Jose) and the proper name/term they are to be referred as ('Assyrian'). That's Mar Narsai in SF! Man I remember going to that church when I was little and eating hard-boiled eggs and bread down in the little hall/school after mass.
 
yeah they found the SF parish on their own, which surprised me because its a pretty small church and they were initially having difficulty finding any Iraqi Christian or Assyrian churches in SF. So after I gave them the SJ church, I was surprised to see the SF church being profiled instead. All the same, its great to get any media coverage of Assyrians.
