yes that is why we fast, because the Assyrians did fast for three days, didnt eat or drink a thing, till God did forgive them.
we always do fast it, its holds more nationalistic meaning to me than religious, thats why i love it. it has nothing to do with finding out who u would marry. these things where just a tradition added for the fun of it. like the making of POKHIN (7 different kinds of seeds i believe mixed and crushed 2gether, u have a tea spon full and u dont talk till the next day) this is purley a tradition just 2make it more fun to ast (at least for the ppl at that time.

Actually i'm jealous...aneh 10 shineh i'm on a diet and i'm yet to lose any weight!
