Bahrainis are Assyrian in origin?

I was reading about the different dialects of Arabic and I read that Bahraini Arabic has many words that are of Syriac, Akkadian, and Aramaic origin!

actually no, Arabic is a language of it's own.

I really doubt it, considering how far south they are. They just borrowed our words, or perhaps their Arabic just happens to be closer to ours due to the fact Semites language would sound alike anyway.

I wouldn't doubt it since we had a very strong Church presence down there.

Perhaps. I realized that they say pronoun "ana" the same way we do (as in "ah-na"; with an an emphasis on the first vowel). Is it a coincidence or are they influenced by us? I don't know. But it's worth pointing out.
