"bachelor of HUUHHHH????"

guys i need your expertise ..

what is the diffrence between all these bachelor degrees?

Bachelor of hons. or honors (or isnt tha the same?)
Bachelor of Arts (B.A)
Bachelor of Sciences (B.Sc.)
Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.)
Bachelor of Laws (LL.B)

are there diffrences? which one is a higher degree? which one does qualify you for a masters or promotions like doctorate or Ph.D?

*clueless thomas*

btw over here we only have two degrees

diploma I
and diploma II

Bachelor of science, law, engineering, whatever... all the same level but different faculties. But obviously, if u get a a Bachelor degree in engineering you go into the work force whereas for the science students, you have to go further to get somewhere (med school, research, dentistry, etc). all depends on your area of study.

if you want to go further after a bachelor's degree.. for example masters or PhD or both, you have to get into the honours. so for example "honours specialization in biology" is still a Bachelor of science degree.. but with honours.

but the highest one is the honours one.. anyone who is in university is qualified under a bachelor of something.. but its more challenging to get into the honours.

and go for the honours, cant hurt you in the end.

GOOD LUCK :D

Here in the stats, a Bachelor's of Science pertains to all sciences, chemistry, biology, engineering, etc etc. Just thought id throw it out there.
