AVN GATHERING Stockholm 5th June 2010

The gathering took place in Stockholm and later in the suburb S?dert?lje, we took a walk in the city, went to a restaurant there and later left for S?dert?lje. Some friends and relatives also joined the gathering and we went to a bar there... it was a successful night and we all had a very good time, unfortunately not all could come but we made the best of what we had, hopefully next time more will attend...

Many thanks to the people who where in this, we want to thank them for their enthusiasm and the time they offered for this.

Africans playing their traditional music, it really becomes annoying after a while since there is no real melody in it, just bongo drums and strange sounds...

it will be more a "sponetnous meeting". But it will depend on how many people are about to reply or be able to join...but probably 5th june sounds good since its a saturday...

Alright, do not miss the game between Assyriska - Syrianska, it is not always you will see around 7000 Assyrians (a.k.a Chaldeans/Syriacs/Arameans) at a game :)
 
The weekend of june 4 - 6  is just perfect for this, so lets hope we have some AVNers close to stockholm more than us 3...

Where you will find a lot of AVNers is on the chat. We have them here too, but there are more regular ones on the chat.

Yeah i think its time to have have one of these here in sweden.

Hey Ash, you think you can help us a little with the chat? Would you be able to post something there so that the users in the chat can see this and get linked here so they could contact me or rumtaya, that would be great if you could since me and rumtaya dont use the chat that much...

Just do somekind of advertisement on the chat that links them to this topic, something like the World Cup 2010 thing you have up in the news topic now...

Just link it in the chat, so they can see the topic. If they are interested they will probably read about it and talk a little about the gatehring and later send us a PM that they are interested, if we know them or are familiar with them from the forum or if they are trustworthy and we think they are serious about this, we will then later send them the mails of location and so on.

Right now we dont have an exact date and time we dont really know when everyone can and how many would like to come, but sometime in between, Friday 4 june- Sunday 6 june. Me and rumtaya can anytime those days... We will give you an awnser as soon as we have some poeple...

Many peoples relatives and friends graduate at the 4th so I would pick either 5th or 6th.

Ah is it 4th in stockholm, we have it the week after here in south. Well then, primarily we say the gathering is 5th June, its a Saturday...

Well just meet up, talk about who we are a little, what we do, talk about AVN and discuss the Assyrian question, and of course have a nice day... we will be somewhere like in a bar maybe, coffe shop or just some kind of chill place... :D, we want to see where people will suggest...
So you have no problem coming if it is Saturday 5th of June?

Bro, and you forgot two very important (if not most important) topics: Assyriska and World Cup! How can you forget these two? haha


Prior to the start of the 2006 world cup, AVNers had a large gathering in Holland, wehere we had Bani from Australia joining them, on his way to the world cup.

Hope we get 5 or more people for this gathering as well. I will link it from the chat, and hopefully more people like the idea and come.

Alright umthonoye, I'm set for the meeting. I can only attend 5th or the 6th June though (6th if our meeting is not too late as I gotta get back to the south the 6th).

Heron City sounds great!

 
Depending on when it is i might be able to attend, i just so happen to be in Stockholm around that period but i am afraid i return back home on the 6th.

Bro do i even need to write that haha. dont worry, when guys meet especially assyrian, do they ever miss to talk about football? :D
I hope we can get some more it would be great, thanks again for the help ash...


For the rest of you guys, it seems that the 5th is the day that suits us all so i think its going to be then as far as i see now......
