Australia, you briefly gave me false hope !

I yelled as hard as I can when Australia ventured into French territory undetected and landed that perfect rocket into enemy territory.

But as it was still early in the game, I thought they probably can’t cling to this for too long. And unfortunately I was right!

Overall, despite the final score, I didn’t think Australia was as bad as what you had mentioned Bani?

What did you think? Did you also get some false hope as well?

They took the game to France and they deserved their goal. I had long said that Australia's only chance was that France would take it easy against them. But once Australia scored, they were not interested in polaying. They just wanted to defend. reminds me of Brazil's match against Scotland from Espana82. Scotland scored too early and it activated the Brazilians. I felt the same happened here, though Australia lost the match rather than France won the match. I still think Tunisia and Denmark will go through from this group.
