The Police Officer Sarmad Bahnan Ibrahim was killed while on duty in Kirkuk @ 7:30 PM on Friday 2nd Dec.

The martyr was part of the Kirkuk police force, and was also a member of the Assyrian Democratic Movement (Zowaa), he was 31 years old.

May he rest in peace.

3rd Zowaa Martyr in less than a week, and the 7th in 3 months.

This is the first time I hear of an Assyrian working in the police force.

Now I need to update the new on the main page, to reflect the new death tally of Zowaa members.

I have an essay coming up, that will be posted in our E-Magazine, dedicated mainly to the sacrifices that Zowaa has given. I will need to update that too to include this latest killing.

Anyways, may he rest in peace, his death won't go in vain, no way.
