Assyrian killed in Syria

Hey guys,

Anyone know more about the latest Assyrian casualty in Syria? I haven't been able to find anything in english but my dad says another Assyrian was murdered in Der al Zor(?), Syria. He was killed because of his christian faith. Also, an Armenian priest was harassed in Hassakeh by a group of Muslims.

Anyone with more info?

May he rest in peace and his killer's family attacked and killed, slowly and painfully by a group of angry, blood thirsty REAL Assyrians....oh wait those don't exist any more....

(EDIT) Sorry, I think that last part was a little harsh so I'm scratching it out so you don't start yelling at me but I'm also keeping it there because it does have some truth to it...

In Del air Zor? Hmm didnt hear about it, I doubt the muslim population there would lie hand over Assyrians, since Assyrians are respected people in Syria (they even hit arabs and noone cares lol).

In Hassak harrased hmm, Hassake is full of "christians", beside Assyrians you have there some Arabs and Kurds, but I doubt here too that they would harras Christians there, but then who knows.

My Uncle was for couple of days with us, he was telling that the situation has abit changed and that muslims became abit antichristian, but the situation is very calm in Syria so dont know.
