assyrian funk, experimental or rock and roll music

hi everyone

I'm looking for some assyrian funk, rock and roll or experimental music

i know its a very loose term - but I'm looking for music with an edge. is there any ? I'm seeing a lot of great turkish stuff (google "erkin koray"), surely some of this stuff was adapted by assyrians? didn't any assyrians listen to jimi hendrix when he was around?

please .. no linda george or ballads

I've never found anything too wild, but there are some old school Assyrian songs that are pretty funky with a disco edge to them.  These couple come to mind right away.
