Assyrians get mad when our church leaders meet and shake hands with Kurdish politicians in Iraq (which I really don't care about tbh, as we do need to be diplomatic when it comes to politics). But I personally get a bitter taste in my mouth when our churchmen meet up with Islamic leaders (he may be a politician, but he is an ethno-religious leader nonetheless). It's like we're conforming to them and their religion. Even Mar Awa once said that "Islam and extremism don't mix" (to paraphrase). And yet he'd probably be having really poor views on homosexuals, who are rampant in his church youth groups and nation.

Start from 4:00 (this Assyrian lady loses at our priests meeting up with other religious leaders and she makes a point):

What I like about her? She is a straightforward Christian. She is equally against other religions, particularly Islam, homosexuals, abortion, etc...I don't agree with her, but at least she practices her faith well.
