The Katalyst Foundation (http://www.kffta.org/Katalyst/Future_Exhibits.html) is hosting a fund-raising event in Los Angeles that will feature art by Assyrian children.  These are kids who were forced to flee their homes in Baghdad and other cities and now reside in northren villages like Araden, Enishki, Badersh and others.  The exhibit will also promote the work of local artists, including our own Assyrian artist, the very talented Paul Batou.

This event will be held at the Loft in the Arts District.
201 South Santa Fe Ave, Studio 207, Los Angeles

Dates:  December 6, 13, 20
6 pm - 11 pm

Edited to change the dates -- there will be three showings, which should give everyone an opportunity to go!

Thanks Ashu. Do me a flava and sneak up on Baklawa and take her pic. All of these years and I still have no idea what she looks like :D

If she's there, I will!

I have dirty pictures of Baklawa. :blush2: But those are secret...between me and her. :2hearts:

Get in line buddy   LA is 6 hours away so I doubt I'll be attending this, but hopefully those in the area will be able to make it and give us some report.
