Andre Agassi is a native of Las Vegas but that hardly makes it a community. The original post asked about an Assyrian community. 2 Assyrians live in Darwin. Doesn't make us a community (especially as I haven't met him in person yet).

Assyrian Church of Mar Benyamin in Las Vegas. We actually visited this church while in Las Vegas a few years ago, but it was a saturday so there was no service taking place.

Well when there's one or two, there's probably more. So I started with Linda. Cos she's the only one that I know who is from there or has lived there.

Honestly, I haven't heard much about the church and whether it is still active? I would hope so, because there is a significant number of Assyrians living in the Vegas valley, numbering well over 100-150. We recently had an Assyrian church start service in Orlando, where the number of Assyrians there is even less. So you would hope the one in Vegas stays and even thrives in the years to come.

I know some Assyrians who live in Vegas, will try to contact them to find out more about the church and if it is still active.
