Any ideas for spending the New Year's With the Family

We have a big family and we always get together for new Year's. Usually we sit, drink, eat, dance & sing  and wait for the clock to strike 12.

Any recommendations from things you guys do that I might copy to bring a little more fun for the night.
 
Games, games and more games. Back in Iraq, we used to play some really fun games with the family with prizes. Including:

-Music chairs
-Throw a penny in two bowls: one full with coke and the other with qamkha. The person has to find the penny in the coke bowl first, using his mouth only. Then he has to find the second penny in the qamkha bowl. Now imagine how his face will be after u mix the two together!

POKER!!

im spending new years with the fam this year.. cuz they came down from the states.. and we're gonna be drinking, dancing and gambling until midnight.. oh, and shortly after, unless i pass out :)
 
go to a party store and buy lot's of fun games and small souvenir prizes for the kids.....
pin the tail
you know kids games and keep them occupied
when the kids are occupied and laughing and happy so are the adults, trust me
happy busy kids allow for the adults to have a better time
we did this last year and everyone said it was the best party yet
also get stuff to throw at midnight and decorate and have good food that helps
good food good music fun people
we got the stuff the kids can shoot from a can i forgot what it's called but they had a blast
everyone was covered the kids got their fill
and of course the champagne
