Is it just me, or are national teams (and even big clubs) flush with young talent like never before?
You have Brazil and Endrick (and soon Estivao). Spain has Yamal. Turkey has Guler. Germany has Musiala and Wirtz. England has Bellingham. and many more.
And I am only talking about players who are 20 or under.
Decades later, we still talk about 17 year old Pele playing for Brazil, or 17 year old Ronaldo. Why? Because it was very rare to have such a good 16-17 year old player, let alone playing for the NT or big clubs.
But today, we have an interesting situation where you have much younger player excelling, and older players playing longer and longer (CR7, Messi, Pepe, Modric, are just some examples)
This is all ironic because we keep talking about quality of football declining last 5-10 years or so.
