American helping Saddam?

ha people, i just heard yesterday on the news that Ramsey Clark is defending Saddam. an american defending saddam, that wouldve been the last thing i could have thought of in terms to saddam's trial because how Saddam really hates Americans.

what are your thoughts on this?
 
Saddam only hates Americans who hate him. Stop exaggerating! It was the Americans who helped him into power so how could he hate all Americans? Or doesn't CNN tell you these facts?

Associated Press - "Clark has been advising nearly a dozen international lawyers on Saddam's defense team. He has contended that Saddam's rights have been violated in the legal process following his capture. But a U.S. government official close to the court said the defense team had not filed the proper paperwork to have a non-Iraqi lawyer in the courtroom."

Makes sense for a man who has believed in civil rights for the past 50 years.

It?s a way of showing that the American government is trying to be fair! Don?t know why they hell they are getting themselves involved in his trial, aren?t Iraqi officials in charge of judging him? and of course we can't forget bush that is trying to say we were wrong but than again so was everyone! lol


do you see how all this is playing out?



I am a fan of people that admit to their mistakes, but for the obvious reasons I am not fan of bush when he admits his mistake because it doesn't sound like an apology, it sounds more like a devious plan!

than gain, that is just my observation from outside America.
 
yeah i see how this is playing out marian. some people think that this is just a waste of time, killing him is just a little extreme.

ive been under his regime for my first 3 years lol so i wouldnt have a clue wat his done from my point of view to judge him. from what my parents have told me in the past couple of years about what his done to iraqi people, especially assyrians, how come i havent heard that assyrians are sueing him?

are they too scared or they dont have any witnesses or proof?

I do not wish death to anyone nor am in a position to judge anyone like Saddam or bush, however I don?t agree with them, I don?t agree how they ran and are running things currently and I will post my opinion?

Saddam had hurt everyone equally, Assyrians, Muslims, Kurds and his own people as well?but lately he wasn?t so bad to Assyrians?.
 
oh ok. now the iraqis must really hate the americans, because they are seeing that an american is helping saddam with his trial, the iraqis will think that usa is on saddam's side, then they'll lose all trust with the US, right? which leaves the war against terrorism in iraq pointless...

well thats what i think.

In the beginning Iraqi people praised Americans, but now, they wish they never came in the country at all!

They already hate Americans. They already lost their trust in them.
 
true, its like somebody using someone else for something they got. lol bush couldnt kiss saddam's ass to get the oil, but i guess bush was trying to finish what his father started.
