I honestly got no idea! The song was awesome back in the day. It's kind of funny how "taste" changes over time. lol

Misirillu (meaning "Egyptian" in Greek) is one of my favourite insutrmentations/song ever (and it's played with just one string of the guitar). I'm not sure who wrote the actual song, but this one string instrumentation version was done by Dic-k Dale in the 60s. You've probably all heard it without even realising because it's been used in a few movies and songs (Pulp Fiction and Black Eyed Peas - Pump It).
