This is great, now we're turning into a bunch of rap koomayeh dissing each other in songs :bangin:

akhoni where have you been? we have been doing this for years just check the Assyrian Church section.

The Kurds themselves have are accusing their government of corruption sending money to their own European bank accounts.

Kurds=Arabs
KRG=Batthist
Barzani=Saddam
Sarkis= Tariq Azizi

It?s very simple if you think about it.

So what should we do, just accept it and move on or point out the crimes against our people and fight for their rights?

Unless you have a brilliant solution I guess that would be the case, of course you can always be a true umtanaya by taking your belongings and moving back home to work with Zowaa, other than that none of us is in a position to make a judgment on anyone back home.

So just because of our geographic location we cant condemn those who make the lives of our people back home worse?
I don?t see the logic.

Yes you can't because you're not in their shoes to understand the choices they make.

As for making our ppl's lives back home worse I beg to differ on that because I have relatives back home who say that Aghagan has helped Assyrians with money that has made their lives better, whether this money is for Assyrian cause or not that's not for me to judge but the reality says that some ppl's lives back home are better because of it.

I think you have misunderstood me and people who hate this man.

Im not judging those who accept his money because it?s truly their money.
This man had a hidden agenda he is helping the Kurds establish Kurdistan why can?t you see that?

So going by your logic you shouldn?t have an opinion on Sargis or Zowaa either because Zowaa are working hard (back in Atra) under the Assyrian name.

Assyriska, you can have an opinion but keep in mind that you don't know this man's agenda, noone knows I  believe, but ppl are so fast to jump the gun and point fingers anyways.

It's obvious that it's not a good thing that this is happening to our ppl back home, but what makes you think Aghagan does't have Assyrians in mind first? maybe that's his way of helping, to you it's probably not so much of a help since you're a western Assyrian that does't need the help, but ppl back home need it for sure and perhaps Aghagan feels that through the Kurds we can survive, you know just because someone is working with the Kurds or Arabs it does't mean they don't have their own nation in mind.

And for the record for those who wanna jump the gun and point fingers at me let me make something very clear, I support Zowaa's work back home and for the past two elections I voted for them, but at the same time I try to respect all sides in our nation rather then point fingers and make problems like the majority.

Thank you
And this is my opinion have often I?ve tried to explain it by words but find no luck hopefully this will open a few minds.

I was thinking of drawing a tea towel on his head to make it a bit clearer.

Balah, I've been taking care of myself. I figure, who am I right now to be able to help the Assyrians. Unless I'm somebody, my comments are meaningless and will never be fruitful. So, I'm gonna build myself up first, then continue the hard work.

(that and I'm working a lot to save money for Sooria :blush2: )

But yeah, you've seen the discussions here, its a joke. I remember the days when we'd have civil convos. Now its reduced to attacking parties, members, and each other. As much, and as strongly as I feel Yonadam Kanna is not the best man for the job, he is, unfortunately, the only one man enough to do it. I think we'd be much better off with a different leader leading the way, but nobody will step up, so how can we argue? The ones that do step up, they're just in it for self glorification (ie Dadisho et co.).

What saddens me is when the old school, uneducated Assyrian mind, automatically assumes you are against an entire organization because you are against one person (mainly the leader). This is the "takhmanta" that is putting us where we are today. We need to be able to constructively criticize everyone. From Mar Dinkha and Mar Bawai, to Dadisho, Aghajan, and Kanna.

Lets be civil in our criticism. We all want whats best for our people, but we all have different opinions and choose different paths WE INDIVIDUALLY believe will take us there. As long as we all agree, the primary concern is the well being of our people, culture, language, and heritage, then I dont see why we can't put our differences aside and work united.

Until then, this constant bickering and disputes will last, and, as I said, generations after us will continually say....

"Allah Manikhleh Atourayeh"

Riza,

Good to have you back.

Tambur,

I feel were not getting anywhere with this discussion because you don't seem to be hearing(reading in this case) what I'm trying to say.  I shall not repeat myself because its becoming tedious.
