This website is made in the hope of getting more Assyrians to listen and understand Assyrian lyrics.
And this is the partner website of Qeenatha.com which provides a large database of Assyrian song lyrics.

You need to be registered if you'd like to post or request any lyrics.?

PS: Don't forget to add it in your favorites list? :)
 
Very nice!!!! But I think it would be very good if you had english translation of the songs too. It would help many people Assyrian to know words they never knew, even if they knew Assyrian.

oh well if we have time we would but then you guys want English translation and others want Arabic translation, don't you think it's too much work to do??? la basa lyrics and you also want translation lol satmawaaa, but if there are people able to help us to do the translation, they are more than welcome.

PS: Try to write lyrics of a song and see how hard it's, so you know how much time it will take, especially most of Assyrian singers they don't have any lyrics writting on their cd cover. I only seen Ashour Bet Sargiss' cd cover that has his lyrics writting in Assyrian, and not too many people know how to read/write Assyrain.

Not really! I always wanted to have Assyrian Lyrics website. And I did ask Ashoor to make a page for Assyrian Lyrics, he did like the idea but he never made one, and now that we do have a website, I wanted to share it with other members, cause I know a lot of people who listen to Assyrian songs but don't know the lyrics.

Oh doos! Salem, I am a moderator here too, ask Ashoor  :razz:  :ROFLMAO:

Great website, great idea too. I am just not into lyrics, because I know almost everyhing I hear. But some people just love reading lyrics.

Here is an idea: make a translation of what these numbers in Arabic mean. Don't assume people know them. Otherwise, they will think it is an error in typing LOL.

lovemoon, the thing with lyrics is that I want to focus on music only. Music is a big part of this website, but ti is not the main focus. Wheras with Qeenatha, their main speciality is music, so they have to cover everything music.

Oh yah! about the numbers, we haven't fix them yet, khenaa will see, if we leave them we are going to do the translation, if not then we will just fix the lyrics and put only English letters. btw it's a fresh website so you may see couple of errors sometimes  :)

i STILL dont understand what theyre saying..

i mean.. i know a lot of words in the songs.. but i have noo idea what they mean.. therefore, i dont even know if im singing it right.. im just singing what i think i hear  :giggle:
 
YOU KNOW I LOOKED AT ALMOST ALL THE SONGS (LYRICS)
THE IDEA OF THIS WEBSITE IS SO PEOPLE LEARN AND KNOW WHO WROTE THE LYRICS.THEY ONLY HAVE THE SINGERS NAME AND NOTHING ABOUT THE PERSON WHO WROTE THE SONG WHAT A SAD THING.
