Thats just the funny thing I am man enough to do something about it. I am enlisted in the United States Marine Corp but I want to join an Assyrian militia instead. I want to fight for Assyria because that is something worth dieing for! I am the one who thinks the only way we can get a country is through have a military. But wait have you ever served in the Peshmerga? Maybe you could show me some of your tactics :ROFLMAO: ! Really man way do Kurds idealize Peshmerga so much. They have never seen real combat unless you count civil war.

I there an Assyrian Militia ? and who are they fighting ?

It is the dream of every Kurd to be a peshmarga since childhood, The peshmargas did not fight all these years for money or status , They fight to defend Kurds and Kurdistan .  And nothing gives a Kurd more pride than having peshmargas in the family .

As for not seen real combat , they drove the Mighty Iraqi army untill mosul city in In March 1974 , and they had to withdraw In early 1975, after Shah and Saddam Hussein,  signed an agreement which ceded important rights in the contested waterway Shatt al-Arab to Iran. In return all aid to the Iraqi Kurds was immediately cut off by Iran.

Just go to kurdistan and you will see how many burning tanks there is in the mountians.

its because common sense doesn't work with you! Weak is having 30 million people and still not have a home land. Weak is when you have such a bland culture you take from others.

* there never was a kurdistan
* fact no one know where exactly kurds came from they are new to this area
* historical the land you call home is Assyria
* Kurds have committed genocide against Assyrians (women and children)
* Kurds (gypsies) have never won a combat battle against Assyrian soldiers.

Most of the members here seem to emphesize that there is no Kurdistan , No one knows where kurds are from , Kurds have no land , it is all assyrian , Kurds are gypsies ,,etc  which if you ask me it is mainly the lack of education .
but ok let us assume you are right .
What would that change from the reality on the ground ?

i know you guys are here to stay on the ground unfortunately and we Assyrians are generous people we have given the turks,iranians, syrians and Iraqi's a piece of Assyria so we don't want to leave you guys behind you can have Arbil (former Assyrian City)but Nineveh Plains (mosul) is the heart of Assyria and you guys want that as well. We dont want to be part of the Kurdish government we want to be linked to the central Iraqi government with the same semi autonomy you guys have. that's all.

No one is forced to part of Kurdistan , No one is putting a gun to your head to join Kurdistan . and I have said it before , It is better for Assyrian to have their own Autonomous region although You all know very well that it is not going to happen for reasons you all know it very well . however , You have my vote :)

My question to you is : Do you believe that Baghdad will allowe assyrian to have their autonomous region ? and why ?

um yes they are, why do you think Sargis Aghan and ishtar tv exist? Kurds are getting in the way of Assyrians in Assyria its plain and simple. It was the Baghdad government that allowed Assyrians to have their own police they know we are the indigenous people of Iraq (Assyria) its was the kurds that stopped this for two years in a row. We are more then capable working for ourselves but thank you for your concerns i think we can take it from here.

You can blame the Kurds all you want to , but Sargis Aghan is Assyrian right ? And obviously he think his nation's interest is with kurdistan , Why would that bother you ? He is free to choose , people can follow him or reject him .

Sargis is a traitor just like those kurds in Turkey who say they are Turkish and they work for Turkish funded tv stations and they work in the Turkish government get my drift?

those pictures are from election time in Iraq a few years ago, Kurds were taking down Assyrian electoral posters or as you can see vandalizing them, the blood you see on that car is when Kurdish terrorists gunned down two young brave Assyrian boys putting up posters they died and no one was arrested for their crime. Your bull**** wont go far here i'm telling you.
 
Kako think about man who is now in our way to getting our Assyrian regional government. The Iraqi government is funding us to get a militia/police force so I don't think they would just drop millions of dollars for no good reason. The Turks can't do harm to us because they have their hands full with you guys and really they have don't enough harm to us as is and I don't think attacking a small Christian minority would help get you access to the EU. Iran well I really think they care as long as Shia have the major in Iraq. Syria view on us is that we are Arab Christians so I am really not sure whats happening there. So who is left...you guys. The Kurd as a group do not like us and you know it. Just go to your family and ask them what they think about Assyrians and you will see what I mean. They want the Nineveh plains which is our ancestral homeland because they want to extend "Kurdistan" as far as possible. You can see were we run into problems right?
