A17 year old boy killed his mum and shot his dad, attempted to frame his dad to make it look like a murder then suicide all over his dad banning him from a game 'Halo 3'


Daniel Petric was so angry that his father would not allow him to play Halo 3 that he killed his mother and shot his father, then tried to make it appear to be a murder-suicide, prosecutors told a Lorain County jury this morning in the boy's murder trial.
a tearful Mark Petric testified that his son came up behind him as he sat on the couch and said, "Would you guys close your eyes? I have a surprise for you."

Petric, 45, said he "expected a pleasant surprise" and closed his eyes. Then his head went numb. As the blood poured from a bullet wound in his head, he realized his wife, Susan Petric, 43, was lying dead

OMG poor mother and father,:( and it’s so sad the picture of the dad crying and how mean of this kid to say close your eyes and the dad actually did that? Awww this is so sad and I hope this kid rots and dies I don’t care how old he is. He does not deserve to live!!!!! He’s evil


R.I.P for the mother, and I hope the dad will be okay. My prayers go out to him and his loved ones.

oh and u know what makes me sick and disgusted how they always blame Depression.

Why would that make you sick?  He deserves representation just like anyone else.

He Killed his mother and shot his father, attempting to frame him his father, over not being allowed a to play a video game.

He doesn't deserve air, let alone a lawyer.
 
That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.  What country are you living in?  Iran, Somalia, China?  Everyone deserves representation in court no matter how heinous the crime is they are accused of.  We don't just take people out and shoot them because someone claimed they committed a crime.  We're not living in the stone ages here no matter how badly some people would like to revert to that mentality.  Maybe we should just send him to Guantanamo Bay and never hear from him again.

I'm so sorry for my comment, i take it back the boy should get a lawyer and i hope he gets a fair trial and is hopefully released, even if he is found guilty i hope that the judge gives him a minimum sentence or releases him to a psychiatric facility where he hopefully recovers and gets released, he only killed his mother and shot his father because they denied him his HALO 3, i can't even take a step in his feet! i can't imagine how he felt knowing he wont ever play HALO 3.

So who gets to be the judge, jury and executioner?  Just ask yourself that.  It's not about just one case.

Bro that wasn't my point, the lawyer is going to try and free him, it just makes me sick how money can make people represent such people like this, like offcorse he is going to get a lawyer but out of all honesty, how can one attempt to represent such a monster?, money?

The lawyer said that he was going through alot of stress.....,I go through stress sometimes, im sure you do too, but neither of us are blowing our parents brains out when we get stressed.

EDIT: Sorry i wrote judge instead of lawyer lol

Do you know that a lot of these lawyers are appointed by the court?  But regardless, that's not the point.  If an Assyrian kid shoots a Kurd in Northern Iraq, wouldn't he deserve a lawyer and a trial? 

Everyone deserves a fair shot...  Not just the rich, Muslims, Kurds, or Arabs.  Everyone. 

It's up to the jury decide if they are guilty or not...  Plus, mental sickness exists.

Other than the legal system doing its job, what mercy does he deserve? Well let us just say, thank God he doesn't live in Canada, he would be out before the summer is upon us.

I always warn about games, and I get people defending them and telling me "Ashoor, this is one in a million case" well I am sorry, but it is not. You just don't make a serious effort to put things into prospective.  Playing games is fine. Getting addicted to games, which is not too unfamiliar, can be quiet serious.

I agree. It's the same with books, music, films etc. Anything negative someone is exposed to constantly will have some sort of effect. And no, I am not saying everyone who listens to goth music will become a murderer, but it will have some sort of adverse effect on the person or those around them.

and im sorry, but if ANY of my sisters ever did that, i would NEVER forgive them.. I dont see how his family could forgive him.. and all this over an f'n video game!!

If Saddam got a lawyer to represent him then why cant this teenager get one?
