Assyrian Killed in Khalis, Iraq

Another Assyrian has joined
the path of many others; the path of martyrdom. Warda Slewo was murdered
today in Khalis, Iraq. Khalis is a city in the province of Diyala, a
hotbed for insurgents and terrorists.
Sahda Warda was Born in 1955 and leaves behind a wife and 4 children, the
oldest being 14 years old. Sahda warda was a member of Zowaa (Assyrian
Democratic Movement) and a loca distributor of Bahra Newspaper, the
official newspaper of ADM. There are unconfirmed reports that he was
killed while on the job, distributing newspapers.
