-Tell us about your life, what do you do in general?
Well I'm a 22 year old Assyrian, born and raised in Michigan. I've been
involved in the church youth group since I was 14. Now I'm the Vice
President of the youth group, and also the athletic director for the church. I
am also a member of the Assyrian American Social Club of Michigan. However
with all this said i am also a full time college student working towards my
bachelor's in graphic design. I know my language, I know my nationality and I

history. If you don't know your history you don't know yourself.
-What about your education or career goals?
Currently I'm a full time college student working towards my
Bachelor degree in graphic design.
"I don't know its just something about a surayta that make a brotha wild."
-How do you describe live in Detroit? how safe is the
city?
I love Detroit. You have many business opportunities here, the city
has many small business. There are certain areas in the city of Detroit that
are bad, but we here have become accustom to those areas. 95% of our people
live in the suburbs of the city.
-Do you ever lie? what situation would force you to
lie?
I'd be lying if I said no. Yes I have lied, I guess maybe if it was someone you
cared about and you where scared to tell them about something in your past and
didn't want to hurt that person so you would lie to cover up.
-Your personality in few words?
outgoing, funny, Caring
-What do you like about Assyrian girls?
The fact that they are my people, that's enough for me.
-Is it the personality or good looks that attract you
to Assyrian girls? or maybe a combination of
both?
A combination both, I don't know its just something about a surayta that make a
brotha wild.
-What is the one thing that you think your personality
lack, that you hope
you had?
I wish had the guts to tell people no sometimes.
-What is money to you?
Money is a piece of paper but in order to get anywhere in this
world money is a big factor.
-What is your ultimate goal in life?
To live life to the fullest, have a healthy family and make
sure that I am financially set, not only me but my family also.
-Do you believe friends now a days are not as loyal as
they used to be before?
I don't know about everyone else's friends but mine are like
brothers, however I have heard stories, so that's tough.
-What is your horoscope? are the qualities of it

I'm a Capricorn i came here to get managed/ oooo i know its
good when you start speaking Spanish. Sorry its a line from a song by tyrese.
I'm not sure if it reflects me.

>ashoor and soul's almost-daily posts and talk about Brazilian soccer
>people in general telling people to check their inbox in the forums, where
they have a message there telling them to check their real email.
Well Nat's my home girl from Detroit, so her quotes are sweet. Brazil is one of
the best soccer teams ever, I can't hate, on the checking your mailbox stuff
can't hate cause i use to do that.

It has helped me meet new people from all over the world. Given me
and my youth group a chance to invite people from different cities to our
church events.
-Assyrian chatters from Australia have been leaders and
pioneers of internet chat gatherings. Why won't other cities do the same?

AV's responsibility to hold them, or the responsibility of chatters in each
city?
maybe, you should try it.

Voice Year Book" for 2003 which contained the names of more than 500 chatters

internet that make a positive impact?
Of course there are, there's a lot of them.

on the message board? whether it was a real topic or just a controversy?

forums, and less time using MSN, ICQ and other messengers. What do you attribute
that to?
Not sure
-If there is anything that distinguishes Detroit
chatters from other chatters, what would it be. Bearing in mind that Detroit
chatters have a big representation at AV.

-Last word to all people out there and how
they can serve our nation even better?
These are my beliefs personally, We all can say we're Assyrians, or
get big tattoo's with Assyrian flags so on and so forth, that's very easy.
However working for your people getting involved in organizations to help our
people is something we should all do to help our people. At this point and
time our people need the new generation here in the western countries to raise
up and make accomplishments to benefit our people. Without us stepping to
the plate we will never get no where, lets not make the same mistakes our
ancestors did. Khaya Umta Atourayta
