It's nice how we're the 27th largest ethnicity in Sydney.

In Chicago and Detroit (aka the "largest" Assyrian communities), we're probably barely in the top 50 mark. This just shows that size doesn't matter, but relativity and percentage does.

As of 2011, we have 30,000 Assyrians in Australia.

I wonder how much that figure has risen in the 2016 census. Can't wait to see the results.

There's 30k in Sydney alone. 20k Assyrian and 10k saying Chaldean from what I've seen.

The 2016 census will have many more Assyrians because of the refugee intake.

Actually, Australia as a whole has 30K Assyrians.

Sydney has 21K Assyrians, which includes Chaldeans.

Melbourne has 9K (also including Chaldeans).

A few small minorities (less than 100) live in Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide.

This would give a total of 30K in all of Australia. ;)
