An Assyrian in the world cup!

Shlama all!
We haven't had this in a while, but we have an Assyrian in the world cup for 2014! He will be playing for Iran,this young man goes by the name Steven Beithashour, some of you may recognize him as a San Jose Earthquakes player. I don't usually support arab teams or islamic teams, I support Brazil, but since Iran qualified, I might as well cheer for Steven and btw Iran has no chance of surviving! I think they are in the group of death, with France, England and Brazil from what ive heard.

Hi Ashur, thanks for always updating us on Assyrian players playing in other teams.

This is amazing, I actually knew about Steven playing in the MLS but I didn't know he decided to join Iran. Well, considering that he was probably born in Iran, and had little to no chance to play for the US, I am not surprised.



We missed the chance to have another Assyrian play in the world cup, when Sweden missed the world cup earlier this week.
