Aramaic Dialects Survey
« on: January 17, 2011, 12:45:32 AM »
Hi everyone I just wanted to see how you guys say "I am writing" in your dialect of Aramaic. I am asking because I was looking at a book that teaches standard East and West Aramaic. Chaldeans seem to speak a weird mixture of both and have adopted traits of West Aramaic into their mostly East Aramaic dialect. Some people prefer to say Chaldeans speak a "South Aramaic" instead of East or West, but I just say "the Chaldean Dialect of Aramaic".
