They're a far right fascist group. They probably would hate Assyrians for being non-white/middle eastern.

Now I commend them for standing against Islam. And I do agree with them that our homosexuals try so hard to find common grounds with Islam and hate on Christianity more (like many other "liberals") - https://www.britainfirst.org/why-is-the-gay-marriage-campaign-so-silent-on-islam/

But I don't know. I'm mixed about them. We do have an Australian equivalent here (Reclaim Australia). And they're also a far right group. Will there ever be leftists against Islam?

Yes, and I do support some of their points. I do fully understand why would they react in a hostile manner towards muslims be it because of terrorist organisations in the middle east or muslims in the UK fighting for Sharia. Frankly, I don't understand muslims like Anjem, why will you promote Sharia in the UK? I feel tempted to say go back to Pakistan then. I've realised a lot of pakistanis are this way when I lived in the UK,however, arabs, kurds and persians in the UK aren't like that (unless islamic extremists or part of a terrorist organisation in the M.E). If I go to a country which is secular, say the UK, I should respect their laws (they fought and thought about them), human rights and freedom of speech. They're secular but, they have an "essence" of Christianity and an "essence" of Britishism (being polite even if you hate that person and want to shoot them dead lol, drinking all the time etc) - So, I should RESPECT that. The government is providing muslims with mosques, freedom of speech (they can protest about anything really, for example, if they don't want a UK intervention in Syria) and jobs....so, they should really start being thankful to the government. I know at the back of their heads, they're thinking of the west's intervention in the M.E and how it's unfair, but, they can protest peacefully against that and at the same time still be thankful to the very same government that is allowing them to live. THEY MUST STRIKE A BALANCE.

Of course. EDL are downright. pathetic. They use a Christian cross as their emblem and they're completely f***ng racist to not only Jews but Christian Middle Easterners in general....Um, hello, we invented your darn cross! You stole our religion. Christianity is a Middle Eastern religion. So give us some respect you brazen-faced thieves!

Anyway, back to topic, Assyrians shouldn't side with far-right groups such as these. They hate us too. We are not European. We are not white (at least the many of us don't appear white). They have a white nationalist streak to them. We're "enemies" to them. We should know better. The OP should too. We should not be this naïve.

Assyrians should be centrists, I say. Be against both the left and the right. That's the way to go in this politicized world.

I doubt they would like Assyrians much but they would probably tolerate them as they behave themselves and aren't Muslim.

We should be on the non-racist right-wing. Those white christians do a lot for Assyrians in the ME, spreading awareness, collecting funds and donating to our people and churches in need. 'Solidarity with the persecuted church' is a great organization just to name one.

They would just see as a slightly improved Middle Easterners. But we're definitely not going to be kings in their eyes.
