English-Assyrian(sureth) dictionary
« on: November 23, 2014, 12:20:52 PM »
Hello!

I want to buy a complete English-modern Assyrian (sureth) dictionary. I have some dictionaries but they're not structured and not complete due to many words missing. I just want a structured dictionary and it would be even better if the words had a Latin script next to the words. But I've been looking for a long time and haven't found any dictionary that's worth having.

I have two dictionaries right now:

Oraham's dictionary

Modern dictionary both dialects

I also want to buy these two, but for now they are too expensive for me:
Khan 1
Khan 2

 :) :)

Can you tell us exactly which dictionaries you already have so we don't suggest them? It's extremely difficult to find a "complete" English to Sooreth dictionary since there are literally about a million words in the English language. Usually, dictionaries will be from Sooreth to English.

Have you had a look at this thread? That might help a little.

I already have those two dictionaries (Modern dictionary & Oraham's dictionary), but they are not ''complete''. I want a dictionary like Oraham's but with more words.

I've already look into that thread and there's some good link.

Thanks for this. I thought it was just a Turoyo dictionary, but it had Assyrian words too.  :)
